Welcome to the Walser Museum of Macugnaga. The museum was founded in 1983 and it is situated in an old walser house which goes back to 1610. It was the chaplain’s house of the church in Borca. The museum comprises seven show rooms with original furniture and fittings of 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th century. Each room displays an aspect of everyday life of the Walser population in Macugnaga.
